about

This is addressing not only the wretched state of hip hop but also, the emasculating affect that it's had on our youth ... our boys that are supposed to become men! I'm just a "canvas" of the American experience and I'm whatever the current mood paints me as. Right now, I'm "red" with anger ... this is redemption for the true heart of the streets.

Beneath that "canvas" is still a -MAN- ... one who was raised to live by a code that few can and one who believes that that code is a very large part of what our legacies' (future generations') lives will be like. I'm not one to stand idly by and see the future being destroyed, in front of my eyes.

Get your priorities right, people. Be -MEN-. I'm man enough to address this and deal with anything that comes with that. It's time for a change.

From the upcoming album "The Mad King".
